Advanced Rail energy Storage

The interesting story here is that the hardware is already built and in use and we have no need to do more. It is basic enough and it is easily applied.

Yet laying track is not cheap either and building a convenient grade can be a problem. In the meantime, it really has to be an automatic system that needs no supervision.

However, old track and a fresh set of ties can be good enough here. Speeds will be terribly slow that this minimizes wear and tear.

Sometimes simple old systems do a fine job if costs are low enough. As well, most windmills are build on high points to begin with and a stiff incline should be easy to come by.
